Litigation on right of access, especially in rural areas, is very frequent in Spain. As far as right of access is concerned the main element to be considered is local knowledge. Litigation on right of acces

Jose Maria Ruiz Castillo came highly recommended to us when we bought our home in Granada. The purchase went through smoothly.
After we moved in, our (shameless, British) neighbour, who doesn’t even live there, built a stone wall, a garage and planted trees in our access road, totally preventing its use!
Spanish law is based on Roman law and completely different to UK law. Fortunately Jose Maria is an expert in this. We took our neighbour to court. It took three and a half years but we won.
Two attributes needed for this are Trust/Faith and Patience. Jose Maria still emanates that rare quality, that aspiration, that probably drives most graduates into law – the desire to see justice done. He is a very moral and dedicated person. You can trust him. Indeed he has integrity.
Whilst we were waiting for our access case to come to Court, our neighbour stole our fence (twice) and assaulted me. Criminal actions. We took him to Criminal Court. Jose Maria’s preparation was immaculate. His closing statement was oratory - magnificent! We won again.
With this guy on your side you don’t have to worry about anything. He doesn’t promise to win, he tells you how it is. Then he fights tooth and nail for you. My kind of lawyer!
