When a company is legally formed in Spain it is compulsory under Spanish Commercial Legislation to submit annual accounts to Company House corresponding to the local area of the company. These company accounts must be signed by the administration of the company accepting their responsibility as administrators.
Once these accounts have been signed and accepted by the administration of the company they will be presented and explained to the share holders of the company for their approval.
The involvement and professional assistance of Mr. Ruiz Castillo on these accounts will be global:-
1. he will prepare the accounts for the company which will then be presented to the administration for their acceptance and signing.
2. when the accounts are accepted by the administration of the company Mr. Ruiz Castillo will be present at the annual general meeting. This will take place prior to 30th June to asses the economic situation of the company.
3. the accounts will be explained legally and economically to the share holders.
4. once all the legal and economical documantation of these accounts is gathered together, he will take the information to Company House for approval.
5. normally within a maximum period of one month from submission, the accounts will be accepted and Mr. Ruiz Castillo will collect the documentation which he will then return to the company.
6. one of the guidelines of his professional practice is to prepare and submit the accounts to Company House during January and February. By submitting the documentation earlier in the year this avoids last minute complications.
Anual Accounts
"When my wife and I were looking to buy a property in Spain we were only too aware of the potential pitfalls involved. Happily, we were referred to Jose Maria Castillo by our estate agent as a lawyer who not only knew his business but spoke good English - important to us because while my wife has some Spanish, mine is minimal! We have been supported through the entire process with speed and efficiency, all our questions have been answered promptly, we have been kept informed of progress at all times, and the formalities completed without difficulty. Following the purchase of our property last year, he has dealt with our Spanish wills, resident status and property tax issues in the same excellent manner, and we would have no hesitation in recommending him to others in the same position as ourselves."
